"It's better, down where it's wetter. Take it from me."
Welcome

A big welcome back to all the old crew of SAUSAC. A much larger welcome to our prospective members.

Now, that was a blatant attempt at gaining favor with our freshers and new club members.

The reason we are so honest about it? Well, through being in the club for at least a year already all the existing members know how amazing it is and we need not convince them anymore. If you are an experienced instructor, a brand new diver or have no experience at all, we have a place for you!

Why do we love our club? Well, it’s a place where we can share our passion of the ocean. It’s an organization that is run by students for students. You will meet people who think like you, act like you, relax like you and live like you.

As for the particulars what do you get when you join our club?

  • Full use of Club Kit (All the expensive stuff, BCD, Regs, O2 Kits etc.)
  • Discounted access to the Club's diving boat “Superbad”
  • Full support in further training using either in house Instructors or a network of like minded people to partake in Regional Training events.
  • The opportunity to learn from experienced divers.
  • DIVE TRIPS! Annual trips include a week long diving bonanza in Appin, West Scotland and the opportunity for some exotic diving with our Warm Water Week. Also the opportunity to join in smaller trips organized by club members
  • The ability to dive knowing there will be safety precautions in place and competent divers taking care of you.
  • Some of the best fun to be had in our little Bubble! We do socials like only divers can. Look out for the infamous pink snorkel challenge!

I am not a salesman, I’m just an enthusiastic diver and I know how fulfilling SAUSAC can be if you are even the smallest bit passionate about the deep blue sea.

Every club has its ups and downs but no club goes down as much as us (Pun Intended!!)

Stephen,

Friendly Neighbourhood Boat Officer.
